Yes, Trump is certainly not the best at being the worst.
Not even that.

Actually Mr Trump is not even 2 weeks in office. There is still much time left to achieve that goal.

"Government is the Entertainment division of the military-industrial complex."

It`s difficult to argue that Trump won the election but easy to argue that Clinton lost it.

Trump Says He Has ‘Complete Power’ to Pardon

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/07/22/us/politics/donald-trump-jeff-sessions.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

I am currently watching a French TV drama production series, Mafioso, about the Corsican Mafia ( fortunately with  English sub titles ).

The parallels with the Trump "administration" are revealing; keeping control within the family with an arrogant Capo!!

As in Ancient Rome, he is now a God!

But a difference of the emperor Marco Aurelio Hispanic origin does not put a person behind him saying:

“Respice post te, hominem te esse memento”
"Look back and remember that you are only a man"

On the contrary Trump hires people like Anthony Scaramucci, who has erased his own old opinions on Twitter to better lick his boss's ass.

Anthony Scaramucci on Twitter:
Full transparency: I'm deleting old tweets. Past views evolved & shouldn't be a distraction. I serve @POTUS agenda & that's all that matters

This is the way all dictators operate; while maintaining a low key public persona they tacitly encourage their minions to push their agenda.

In my opinion Trump`s "minions" are more dangerous than the man himself; the most obvious example being Bormann, Gobbels and Goring to Hitler.

But now Mr Trump got elected in the US (and not in Europe) by a huge amount of angry white men. How does this fit in the conventional narrative?

Not just white and not just men. How does it fit? So called "conventional narrative" is addressed to the upper and upper middle class, and it's completely detached from the lower classes. Trump correctly diagnosed valid issues, while Democrats were occupied with gay marriages, separate toilets for trannies and similar nonsense. He may be wrong answer to these issues, but he was the only answer available.

I think you're right . But trumps diagnosis is wrong . Poverty has not caused the problems in America , America is rich enough . Trumps idea of the world that exploits America is a battle to the world, and solves no problem in America .
